🛡️ How Scanning Works

  1. Search for an IP or asset. If you want fresh results, click the Scan button on the asset details page.
  2. Scan Queuing: When you request a scan, the IP is added to our scanning queue. You will see a confirmation message when the scan is queued.
  3. Scan Frequency: Each IP can only be scanned once every 24 hours to ensure fair usage and up-to-date results.
  4. Scan Process: Our backend will perform port scans, service detection, vulnerability checks, and screenshots (where possible). This may take a few minutes.
  5. Results Update: Once scanning is complete, the results will be updated automatically. Refresh the asset page to see the latest findings.

Note: If you try to scan an IP that was scanned recently, you will have to wait until the 24-hour period has passed before you can scan it again. This helps us manage resources and prevent abuse.
